Introduction to IP address¶

The IP Addresses section contains the list of IP addresses that have been entered into the NACVIEW system. This list is created automatically when subnets are added in the Network IPv4 section. Each IP address can be managed individually with options for static or dynamic assignment, DNS configuration, and MAC address association. The section provides detailed information about IP address usage, including current assignment status, associated MAC addresses, DHCP events, and hostname information.
