Introduction to Object group¶

Object groups are used to organize and categorize different objects created in the NACVIEW system. These groups can include Identities, Endpoints, MAC addresses, Network devices, and Ports. Object groups simplify access policy management by allowing administrators to create general policies that operate on entire groups of objects rather than individual items. When adding or removing objects or changing access permissions, administrators only need to modify the appropriate Object groups instead of remembering which rules in Access policies should be changed.
