Introduction to LDAP service¶

LDAP Services define connections to LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) directories, including Microsoft Active Directory. These services are used by NACVIEW to authenticate users and devices, synchronize identities and endpoints, and perform Kerberos-based authorization. Each LDAP service configuration includes domain controllers, DNS servers for service discovery, realm configurations, and PKI certificate settings for secure LDAPS connections.
