VLAN¶
Introduction to VLAN¶
VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks) are used to segment the network into separate broadcast domains. In NACVIEW, VLANs are configured as subnet ranges that can be assigned to network access policies. VLANs can be used to control which network segments devices and users can access, providing network security and traffic management. Each VLAN is identified by a unique tag number and can be visually distinguished using color identifiers.
