Cisco’s devices from enterprise line (think Catalyst with IOS, IOS-XE (C1000, C9XXX) have robust and well-tested 802.1x implementations, support for CoA, have provisions for VoIP and multiauthorisation, as well as full TACACS+ support. On the other hand, Cisco’s so-called SMB series have cut-down capabilities, especially when it comes to TACACS support, VoIP authorisation, MAB-authorisation, and even basic fetures as RADIUS VLAN assigment.

Cisco C1200 and C1300 are not Catalyst devices. They’re continuation of SG250/350 series of devices, with limited capabilities.
