Introduction to MAC address¶

MAC addresses are unique hardware identifiers assigned to network devices. In NACVIEW, MAC addresses can be registered and managed to control network access based on device identity. This section allows administrators to add, edit, and manage MAC addresses that can be used for MAC-based authentication or as part of access policies. Each MAC address can be associated with an endpoint device, assigned to object groups, and configured with specific IP addresses or network access rules.
