Relase 3.0.2🔗
NACVIEW NV 3.0.2 added suport for:
Proxmox VE 9.x+ (and other QEMU-based virtualisation software)
VMware ESXi 7.x+
Windows Hyper-V 2016+
XCP-ng 8.x+ (and other Xen-based virtualisation)
Known issues🔗
Upgrades to NACVIEW version 3.0.1 must be performed via the CLI in accordance with the upgrade instructions provided in the documentation. Starting from version 3.0.2, upgrades can be performed directly through the graphical user interface (GUI).
New Features🔗
Upgraded the operating system to Rocky Linux 9.8.
Upgraded the Linux kernel to version 5.15.208.
The administrative web interface now automatically reloads after a certificate update, ensuring that changes are applied without manual page refresh.
Endpoint Object Groups are now supported, enabling more flexible device grouping and policy assignment.
Support for additional Extreme Networks devices has been added to the RADIUS dictionary, improving compatibility and device recognition.
Support for certificate generation for Active Directory 2025 used in LDAPS connections has been added.
Added support for Subject Alternative Names in client certificate generation, providing greater flexibility in certificate-based authentication scenarios.
Added dedicated API endpoints for retrieving Events by object type. Access to event reports can now be limited to the object categories managed by a given administrator, supporting more granular administrative permissions.
Added the ability to preview signed licenses directly from the system interface.
Added a Tag field to internal certificates to support grouping of network devices in SCEP deployment scenarios.
Added the ability to evaluate Host conditions during policy testing.
Added support for multiple SCEP servers.
Added support for importing certificate chains in DER format.
Added automatic synchronization between system nodes after creating a new identity or changing an identity password.
Added the ability to identify and update system nodes running a different software version directly from the Master node.
Added support for configuring a global IP address for communication with an external Zabbix server.
Feature Parity Updates🔗
The Network Device Status module has been restored, enabling quick verification of device availability and core communication services. The module supports status checking for CLI, PING, RADIUS, SNMP, and SYSLOG.
SCEP support has been restored for automated certificate enrollment and renewal.
Added the ability to import objects from a file.
Added support for updating the Master node.
Added support for updating Slave nodes.
Added CSV import support for VLANs, subnets, network devices and other objects.
Bugfixes🔗
Fixed an issue affecting archive migration to an alternative system node, ensuring successful transfer of archived data.
Improved logging of authorization errors to provide more detailed diagnostic information for troubleshooting.
The IP address configuration for eth2 virtual interfaces has been fixed.
The DHCP configuration for eth2 virtual interfaces has been fixed.
Fixed a DHCP issue where IP pool exhaustion could lead to incorrect or unexpected IP address assignments.
Fixed validation of the UNIT field in endpoint and identity conditions to ensure correct policy evaluation.
The VRRP status display in CLI has been fixed.
Fixed a policy compilation issue caused by incorrect Endpoint condition evaluation.
Fixed issues in database replication scripts to improve reliability of data synchronization between system nodes.
Fixed inconsistencies in name length validation between the API and database for Wifi Network and Network Device resources, preventing errors caused by mismatched constraints.
Fixed an issue where duplicate IP addresses could be assigned to Endpoint Devices or Network Device. The system now properly validates IP uniqueness and returns a validation error instead of an internal server error.
Fixed an issue with permission synchronization when modifying user assignments in Access Groups, ensuring consistent access control updates.
Fixed an issue allowing deletion of Organization Units that were still referenced by other objects. The system now prevents such operations to maintain data integrity.
Fixed an issue preventing safe deletion of users associated with TACACS Server configurations.
Fixed an issue preventing deletion of Access Groups linked to Authorization Server configurations imported from external sources.
Fixed an issue preventing deletion of Object Groups used in Captive Portal configurations.
Fixed an issue preventing deletion of VLANs referenced in Matrix Policy Rules.
Fixed VLAN name validation to prevent creation of duplicate VLAN entries. The system now correctly returns a validation error instead of an internal error.
Fixed an issue occurring during subnet editing and migration operations, improving stability of network configuration changes.
Improved CSRF token handling to ensure proper validation and enhance the security of web interface operations.
Fixed the display of ReauthDeviceCredential and DeviceCredential information in the Network Devices table.
Fixed an issue preventing the deletion of installed Matrix Policy Options.
