NV3 documentation

NACVIEW is a network access control (NAC) system that allows authentication, authorisation and accountability (AAA) for users and devices accessing a company’s network, both wired and wireless. The system verifies identity of endpoints and/or users before granting access to the netowrk in accord with authorisation policies. It supports multiple authentication methods, including: 802.1x/EAP with support for domain and multi-domain environments; local users and devices database; and for other identity databases (eg Azure/Entra); MAC address authentication; and Captive Portal login (including social networks login).

The system works with a broad set of network devices, including but not limiting to switches, access point, firewall, SOHO equipment and WLAN controllers from diverse vendors, which makes NACVIEW suitable for multi-vendor network environments.

It integrates with external systems such as Active Directory and other LDAP services, as well as external Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). It also provides TACACS+ and RADIUS services for administrative management network devices.

NACVIEW also includes built-in services such as: Certificate Authority (CA), DHCP server, in addition to an internal user/endpoint database. This makes it a good choice for smaller networks where it allows for single-pane-of-glass monitoring.

In addition, NACVIEW provides a full API, which allows for easy integration with third-party solutions and automation systems.

Whether you’re deploying, configuring or integrating with NACVIEW, we have all information for you in one place.
