Introduction to NV¶
NACVIEW is an advanced NAC (Network Access Control) class network access management system that integrates control, monitoring and automation mechanisms to secure network resources. It enables central management of network access for both end devices and user identities, resulting in flexible and scalable deployment. It’s applicable to all environments: from straightforward networks in various institutions to highly complex corporate infrastructures.
In the face of increasing security threats, precise access control is becoming one of the key elements of IT strategy. NACVIEW allows administrators to define precise authorisation rules (access policies) and integrate various authentication methods such as 802.1x, MAB (MAC Authentication Bypass) or TLS certificate-based solutions, making this system a comprehensive tool for managing access to network resources and monitoring port-level activity.
With its modular architecture, support for multiple standards and integration with Active Directory and certificate authority (PKI) systems, NACVIEW forms the foundation of modern network security strategies. Its implementation allows not only central infrastructure management, but also precise control and monitoring, which is essential in protecting against increasingly sophisticated threats.
NACVIEW is designed as a modular system, which allows its functionality to be flexibly adapted to the specific needs of an organisation. With NACVIEW, network administrators can:
Centralise network access management,
Automate configuration and deployment processes,
Integrate with existing systems such as Active Directory,
Monitor and report on authorisation events in real time.
