Identity

Introduction to Identity

Identities are users in the NACVIEW system whose network access can be managed. An Identity includes information such as first name, last name, email address, login credentials, account validity period, and assigned endpoints. Identities can be created locally in NACVIEW or synchronized from external authorization servers like Active Directory, LDAP, or other databases. There are three types of identities: Standard (locally defined), External (synchronized from external databases), and Voucher (temporary accounts with defined validity periods).
