Introduction to Events authorize¶

Authorization events track all network access attempts in the NACVIEW system. Each event records whether access was granted or rejected, along with details about the user, device, network device, VLAN assignment, and the policy rule that determined the outcome. This section provides comprehensive logging of 802.1X, Captive Portal MAC, and other authorization methods for security monitoring and troubleshooting.
